LADY PEARLS BREAKING NEWS FLASH!  COLLEGE SIGNINGS
 
 
 
Tejahne “TJ” Malone has signed to play at NCAA Division I Central Connecticut State University.  TJ was an intricate part of the Lady Pearls Basketball University program.  She was a catalyst on and off the court and lead the team in points and rebounds.  TJ finished her high school career at Westlake averaging 24 points and 18 rebounds per game, while posting two 40 point and 30 rebound performances.  TJ was named 1st team All SMAC and 1st Team All County, as well as County Player of the Year.  TJ led Westlake High School to a 18-8 record and a 3A South Regional Championship and a berth in the Maryland 3A State Final Four at UMBC.  She is an outstanding player and person and has tremendous ability to lead her teammates.  TJ will make an immediate impact at Central Connecticut State University and will be a true force in the North East Conference (NEC) as a freshman.
 
 








Alyssa “Big Smooth” Fort has signed to play at NJCAA Division II Hagerstown College.  Alyssa was highly recruited by some of the top JUCO’s in the Nation stretching all the way to Chicago, but decided to stay close to home to play for former WNBA and University of Maryland player Vicky Bullett.  Alyssa was an intricate part of the Lady Pearls Basketball University program.  She is an establish leader on and off the court and has a heart like a lion.  Alyssa finished her high school career at Westlake averaging 8.3 ppg; 6.4 rebounds per game, 2.1 steals, 7 assist per game.  Alyssa was named 1st Team All County.  Alyssa led Westlake High School to a 18-8 record and a 3A South Regional Championship and a berth in the Maryland 3A State Final Four at UMBC.  One of the most improved players in the area, with the ability to lead her teammates through any adverse situation. Alyssa is an outstanding player and person and will be a player to reckon with in the NJCAA and MDJUCO.
 











Miesha "Big Country" Adams has signed to play at NJCAA Division II Hagerstown College.  Miesha was highly recruited by some of the top schools in the country before her injury a year ago.  Making the ESPN 100 Watch List as a freshman for the 2012 class and Rank by ESPN as 124 for her postion, Miesha was big part of the success of the Lady Pearls Basketball Program.  She had a very big following and brought college coaches in the gym from all of the country.  Miesha was the County Player of the Year in 2011 and was the driving force behind North Point winning there 1st 4A Regional Championship.  Miesha will join forces with former Lady Pearls teammate Alyssa Fort at Hagerstown College and will play for former WNBA and University of Maryland player Vicky Bullett.  Miesha is a tough kid and will be a true force in the NJCAA.  She has the ability to knock down the 3 and rebound the ball.  A very versatile player that can take you inside and out.  She will be one of the top players in the NJCAA and will get to the NCAA D-I level after making her mark next year in the NJCAA and MDJUCO
 











Ayonna Richardson signed to play at NCAA Division II California University of Pennsylvania in the November early signing period.  Ayonna was also an intricate part of the Lady Pearls Basketball University.  One of our original players when the program first started.  Ayonna was highly recruited by NCAA Division I schools like Mount St. Mary’s, St. Francis (PA) and many more.  Ayonna a catalyst on the floor who has the ability to change a game with her shot blocking present in the paint.  Ayonna finished her career at Thomas Stone averaging 14.6 ppg; 13 rpg.  Ayonna was named All-SMAC second-team selection and 1st Team All County.  An outstanding athlete with tremendous ability, she will be an immediate impact player in the PSAC Conference as a freshman.
 
 
 
Ashia “Wild Thing” Joseph signed to play at NCAA Division III Virginia Wesleyan.  Ashia was a huge part of the success of the Lady Pearls Basketball University program.  She is a tremendous athlete that plays with tremendous power.  Ashia was highly recruited by NCAA Division II and III schools, but decided that Virginia Wesleyan was the school for her.  What a great kid off and on the court, a true team player that puts team first.  She has heart and passion for the game and will to win.  Ashia posted a game high 30 points this season at Great Mills High School and was the true leader of that very young squad.  A great defender with the ability to score and rebound the basketball.   Ashia will immediately impact the program at Virginia Wesleyan and will make her mark on the NCAA Division III basketball scene.  
 
 
The LADY PEARLS BASKETBALL program is a Amateur Athletes Union (AAU) Girls Basketball Exposure Team that has been established to showcase some of the top girls basketball players in the Washington, D.C. Metro Area.

All team dues and fees are non-refundable.  All tournaments are paid for in advance and all teams dues are used for those purposes.
